Sizuk Unveils Electrifying 'Daybreak' Opening for Tales of Wedding Rings Season 2

The second season of the anime series Tales of Wedding Rings (Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari II) has premiered. The musical project Sizuk, led by composer Shunryu, has released “Daybreak” as the series’ opening theme.
“Daybreak” was launched as a digital single on October 5, 2025. It features vocals by AYAME, lyrics by Saori Kodama, and an arrangement by John Kanda. This track is intended to reflect the anime’s blend of romance and fantasy adventure.
Tales of Wedding Rings Season 2 began airing on October 4, 2025, on Japanese broadcasting networks including AT-X, TOKYO MX, and BS11, as well as various streaming platforms. This season continues the story from Maybe’s original manga, which concluded its 15-volume run in 2024.
The narrative centers on Hime and Satou, whose marriage is depicted as transcending dimensions. This union initiates a prophecy requiring Satou, identified as the Ring King, to confront the Abyssal King. The series has been noted for its combination of romantic elements with fantasy adventure, a characteristic that has resonated with its audience. The English dub of the first season is also available.

The music video for “Daybreak” features animation sequences that complement the song’s composition. Additionally, singer Akari Kitou performs the closing theme for the second season. Tales of Wedding Rings Season 2 is expected to present new plot developments and character arcs, with Sizuk’s opening theme contributing to the series’ musical presentation.
