TOHO revealed a new bonus episode for Boku no Hero Academia at Jump Festa '26. This was announced today. The special episode is titled 'More.' It adapts material from the manga's final volume.

This special episode adapts manga chapter 431. Chapter 431 comes from Volume 42, the final volume of the series. The story is set eight years after the main events. It functions as an epilogue. Deku and the U.A. High graduates are featured in this epilogue, showing their lives years later.

The premiere date for the special is scheduled for May 2, 2026. Crunchyroll will be streaming the bonus episode worldwide. Streaming will exclude Asian territories at the time of reporting. This OVA continues Deku's legacy for global audiences post-finale, giving fans a look ahead.

The announcement ties directly into the 10th anniversary of the anime. The anime first debuted back in April 2016. Celebrations for the 10th anniversary are set to start on April 3, 2026. Voice actor Yuki Kaji hinted at events for April 3, suggesting more announcements are coming.

New Visuals and Concert Tour Confirmed

A new teaser visual was also shown during the presentation. The visual features Izuku Midoriya, Deku, in 10 different looks. This visual celebrates the character's journey over the decade. More anniversary projects are promised by TOHO.

Also confirmed was the 'My Hero Academia in Concert' world tour. This concert tour is scheduled to kick off on May 30, 2026. Composer Yuuki Hayashi is involved with the concert tour, bringing the iconic music to live audiences globally. A special video from the final season was shared with English subtitles, promoting the upcoming events.

The source manga was created by Kouhei Horikoshi. The manga ran in Weekly Shounen Jump. It ran from July 2014 until August 2024. Circulation for the manga surpassed 100 million copies worldwide. The eighth and final season of the anime wrapped up recently. It had aired since October 4, 2025, wrapping on December 13, 2025.
