The Steel Ball Run: JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken anime adaptation received new details recently. This is Part 7 of the manga created by Hirohiko Araki. A new trailer was dropped on December 19, 2025. The Episode 1 premiere date was confirmed for March 19, 2026. This follows earlier news that came out in September 2025. That time saw the first teaser trailer premiere at an event and initial voice actors were revealed then too. Shogo Sakata voicing Johnny Joestar was announced at that time.

Fans have waited since the official reveal on April 12, 2025 at the JOJODAY event. New footage teased big battles and Stand abilities that are intricate. The Holy Corpse quest drives the actions of Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli. Staff is reportedly addressing adaptation issues like scene reordering and added foreshadowing mentioned, similar to how earlier parts were handled. Expectations are very high for the story telling.
